ReWild Your Garden

In fields, forests and feral spots in Maine there are many untapped food resources. In this workshop we will discuss and identify native wild foods and other useful plants found in our communities . We will look at resources to ID invasive and threatened plants.   Let’s think about our own backyards - what is already growing there, including the “weeds”? Lisa will share ideas and tips about how to access this free food and how to care for these plants, including pruning and protecting from pests. We’ll provide large sheets of paper, pencils and templates for planning our backyard food sources! Instructor: Lisa Willey $28
