About the Instructors:

Amy Wentworth is a certified vinyasa yoga instructor, with 26 years as a alternative elementary school educator. She works full-time at School Around Us, teaching children ages 5-8. Integrating the yoga teacher training into her daily practice has been a life-changing experience. Her weekly classes are designed for all levels, including beginners or first time yoga goers. Each week is guided by a theme that supports the growth of mind, body, and spirit.. Her  classes envelope an atmosphere of support, non-judgment, and kindness. Her intention is to connect students to the spiritual aspects of being human understanding that the practice of yoga goes far beyond the poses on the mat. Yoga translates to union. Amy embodies this union as an equilibrium both to the self and with others. Besides her passion for teaching she loves to dance, garden, and laugh with friends.

Sandy Perkins has spent the past six years loving yoga. So much that she became a certified teacher after taking a 200 hr. training in 2017.  Her practice is just as much about the mind and spirit as it is the physical body. She finds yoga helps build confidence, strength and flexibility, both on and off the mat. It has provided a balance in life and a more mindful approach to living. In addition to her daily yoga practice, Sandy is also Reiki I and II certified. Through her teaching, she hopes to inspire and encourage gratitude. As a legal assistant by day, mother, and grandmother, she understands how life can be busy. Join her to find quiet and calm during her gentle vinyasa classes suitable for all levels. Be ready to combine movement with breath, meditation, expression, and a touch of humor.
