Wage: $16/hour + all tips
Summary: The soft serve window at Frinklepod Farm is popular destination for our farm visitors and you are the person who makes this sweet magic happen! This is the perfect part-time summer job for an outgoing, self-directed, and dependable person who loves making people happy with a refreshing treat. The ideal candidate works well under pressure and without direct supervision.
All of our ingredients are vegan, nut-free, and gluten-free (with the exception of optional wheat-based cones) and we love coming up with interesting toppings and “specials” that incorporate local fruit, flower petals, etc. If you are a creative foodie, your ideas and inspiration are welcome in crafting our menu!
Customer traffic at the window ebbs and flows. There are times when you must hustle to keep up with a stream of orders, and other times where there are no customers in sight. During slow periods, you are welcome to read, use your phone, etc., making sure to put all personal items aside when the next customer shows up.
Essential Job Functions
Greet customers and take orders
Use the soft serve machine and a selection of toppings to fulfill orders
Keep track of inventory and communicate with manager for re-ordering supplies
Prep and clean up ingredients
