“Thank you. You have nourished me with healthy food, community and conversation.

Hi! We’re Noah and Flora
We have both always been passionate about growing food and In 2011, our neighbor’s 16 acres of land came up for sale and we jumped at the opportunity to turn the once-farmed, now-fallow fields into a farm to help feed our local community.
We are now a small, diversified farm, growing vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers on 4 acres of land and in 3 greenhouses. Everything we grow is available in our farm store, alongside products we make in our licensed kitchen and a wide assortment of other locally-made foods and gift items. We love offering a variety of opportunities for our farm members and the public to shop, explore, eat, and learn on the farm.

CERTIFIED ORGANIC
We are Certified Organic by MOFGA (Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association). (Fun fact: Noah's parents helped start MOFGA in the early '70s.) Deeply concerned about the loss of agricultural land and biodiversity in this area, we are passionate about stewarding this land in a way that will allow future generations to connect with nature and their food.
Real organic, too.
We are also proud to be part of the Real Organic Project, a farmer-driven movement that goes above & beyond the USDA Certified Organic standards.
Our Quirky Name
Frinklepod Farm’s name is inspired by one of our children's favorite books, Uno's Garden, by Graeme Base. We hope that our farm can mirror the main themes of this book: the importance of ecological biodiversity, conservation, and the need to maintain a healthy balance between humans and nature.

we can relate
While we value simplicity, we know as well as you how complicated life can get. Making time to shop locally and eat nourishing meals is not always as easy as it sounds. Our goal is to help fill your kitchen with nutritious local foods that you can confidently turn into the best meals you have ever eaten!
“Thank-you for the beautiful and tasty veggies. Thank-you for all the love and steadfast attention to your work. ”
