Join us for a fun, informative, hands-on cooking class showcasing four Asian soups!
Winter is soup season! Broaden your soup and stew repertoire this winter with four different, plant-based Asian soups. Ger Liang Tysk of Red Kettle Kimchi will take you on a culinary adventure through Chinese, Japanese, and Korean soups, guiding you as you prepare delicious, warming dishes like Cantonese congee and Korean kimchi stew. After the soups are done, we’ll sit down together and have a chance to eat everyone’s creations.
Please wear comfortable clothes and come prepared to do some light cooking (ex: cutting vegetables or boiling water). All equipment is provided, but feel free to bring a beloved kitchen knife or favorite apron.
