Strawberry Jam: Canning Workshop

Nothing says summertime in Maine like strawberry season. Join UMaine Extension staff and Master Food Preserver volunteers for a hands-on workshop dedicated to the art and science of preserving Maine fruit. We’ll guide you through the boiling water bath method, ensuring you leave with the skills to preserve safely and confidently at home. Every participant will leave with research-based recipes and a freshly-made jar of jam to enjoy. Helpful to bring a potholder with you to class.
